Yep.
She's back.
With a new book...
and the
Top 10 Breakup/Breakup-ish Love Songs

(I notice she didn't pick this gem ;)

Um, no. That didn't make the list. But these did, so Elizabeth, get out the tissues. ;) These songs might not all be about breakups, per se, but they’re full of raw emotion. Excellent for writing breakup scenes...

10. “Easy” by Rascal Flatts ft. Natasha Bedingfield

9. “Won't Be Mine” by Matchbox 20

8. “Should’ve When You Could’ve” by Skillet

7. “6, 8, 12” by Brian McKnight

6. “The Lonely” by Christina Perri

5. “Better Than Me” by Hinder

4. “No Reply” by Steve Conte

3. “Just Give Me a Reason” by Pink ft. Nate Ruess

2. “I Miss You” by Incubus

1. “Fate” by Bleak ft. Ana Johnsson

Bonus: This isn’t a breakup/breakup-ish love song, but it does fit Courage. In fact, I consider it Aiden’s theme song of unrequited love...

Excellent list Carrie! Though that Hank ditty...it's pretty classy, you might want to reconsider ;)

Blurb:
When college student Rena Collins finds herself nose-to-chest with the campus outcast, she’s stunned. Wallace Blake is everything she’s ever wanted in a man—except he can’t touch her. His uncontrollable strength, a so-called gift from his bloodline, makes every interaction dangerous. And with a secret, supernatural war brewing among his kind, there’s no time to work it out. To keep Wallace in her life, Rena will have to risk a whole lot more than her heart.

  11. Just about any Country n' Western song could of made that list. Always the same theme. My wife's left me, the dog's died and my pick-up truck wont start.

And Carrie, you know all your adoring fans just love you. Yep, as I mentioned before, even Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar, loves you. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better.

    Hi Elizabeth!

  15. Love, love, LOVE Carrie's books, but I'm sure hoping this focus on breakups isn't a hint at what's coming in book two. *gulp*
