March IWSG!
I should have edited the graphic to include "words added" for all of us writerly people.
But I didn't have time.
Once again, I am posting midday when I should have set it up days ago. On the bright side, I only have fifty pages left to go on the final draft of the next book. I'm at that place in the process where if I have a minute to devote to writing, I want to be in the WIP and nowhere else. That doesn't help my blogging goals...and the newsletter? Not sure I remember the password!
How's it going for everyone else? Doing better or worse than me?
This month's question!
What elements do you include in your book launch? Or what do you have in mind for your future book launch? Or what advice do you have to offer to others planning to launch a book?
Honestly? I half-ass it and then pray someone, anyone sees I have a new release. Have I mentioned I am not very good at this writer stuff?
You guys rock!

If you're in the zone just enjoy the ride!
ReplyDeleteKeep going! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck finishing your WIP! You can see the finish line!
ReplyDelete🤣 Love your answer! Good luck on those last 50!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I will admit, I am not above half-assing a job just to complete it.
ReplyDeleteWoot! Love it when the end is in sight!
ReplyDeleteHalf-assing is a good word for just about everything. Hahaaa. Life happens. Busy Busy Busy, that's life, right? Fingers Crossed on reaching the finish line. You can do it!! Have a great writing month!
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh - and that's no bad thing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making so much progress on your WIP. That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy book launches consist of announcing the book on Facebook and on my blog, then doing updates now and then.
ReplyDeleteAlways take advantage of being in the zone. It gets stuff done. ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being almost done with that final draft! I wish I could say the same, but I'm hobbling along. And it's refreshing to hear that someone else half-asses. I lurk in spaces with self-pubbed authors who are marketing machines, and it's intimidating.
