Good morning! Today is my birthday. Regale me with blessings in the comments. :)

The last two weeks have been very busy. My young writers' group launched its second youth anthology. This time around, we self-published, so the kids could learn the steps of the self-pub process. We had our first signing on Saturday and will be at the New Martinsville Library tomorrow for another signing. 

This venture would NOT have been possible without the help of my writer besties, Carrie Butler and Melissa Maygrove. They donated their time on edits, cover design, and formatting. At their first launch, the kiddos earned more money than most authors make in a year. And that was thanks to Carrie and Melissa. I cannot thank these ladies enough. 

Now for the insecurity...

Today is my birthday. I'm 57!!! How did that happen? And how did I get so far off track with all of my writing goals? Better life balance. I'm going to claim it again as my goal. Maybe this time it will stick.
