1. Who was the first female elected chief of the Cherokee Nation?

2. Marie Curie died from aplastic anemia believed to have been contracted from her long term exposure to her work, which she carried around in test tubs in her pocket and placed in the draws of her desk. What did Marie Curie work with?

3. She was a lesbian activist who was married in the first-ever California lesbian wedding ceremony on February 12, 2004 (later declared invalid) and again on June 16, 2008.

  1. I got 5 and the bonus. Sad Curie died but I guess her research and of course death showed how dangerous radiation is no matter it's advantages. Wonder how many men did Wilma Mankiller have to actually kill to get her job? Awful joke, I know.

  2. I also thought the same thing about Wilma Mankiller! Didn't know it though. Got 2 and 5 and I actually thought Celine Dion for 4, no idea why.

    Congrats to Kelley!
