4. Located on this US island is The British Cemetery where the remains of four crew members from the HMS Bedfordshire rest.
5. It may be an urban legend, but rumor has it this famous celebrity and artistic genius was never buried, but is in a cryogenic chamber awaiting a cure for what ails him.

so here's your boobie prize!
(That's my baby boy, Conner. and my nephew, Gabe- totally cool being boobs!) |
Enjoy :)
(1. Princess Dianna; 2. King Tut; 3. Tomb of the Unknowns; 4. Ocracoke, North Carolina; 5. Walt Disney; Bonus: Alexander the Great)
Ocracoke, NC! You're getting close to my stomping grounds now. And I had never heard that about Walt Disney.
ReplyDeleteIt's my home away from home! I'd be there constantly if mileage and money were no object!
DeleteI've always wondered if there's any truth behind that Walt Disney myth. Guess we'll have to break-in to find out ;)
ReplyDeleteI know. Best I could tell, it's a myth. But it's become part of American lore, so I don't the rumor ever quiets.
DeleteOnly got #1 and 2. Like Jeff said the Walt Disney chamber rumour is news to me too. Thanks for a month of trivia and cool booby prize, those boys are enjoying themselves.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea when I first heard it. I think I was a little kid.
DeleteGlad you like your prize...summer is coming!!
I should've got Ocracoke. And instead of Disney, I was thinking Elvis.
ReplyDeleteYou made it to the end - congratulations!
I did. I think I got almost all of them up on time, which is amazing given my procrastination tendencies. My only fail is that I wanted to visit more blogs.
DeleteI loved your A to Z theme. It's been a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteIt has been fun...but a little relieved it's over. :)
DeleteSeems I spent my whole morning commenting under my son's blogger ID. Too far behind to fix all of them now!
ReplyDeleteI did not know that about Alexander the great. But Yeah, I totally knew that about Walt Disney. And, did you know that the Matter Horn Mountain in Disneyland has a half basket ball court in it? Yeah, turns out insurance on a Gym is cheaper than insurance on a mountain...
ReplyDeleteCool! I love trivia. I don't know when I'll ever get to use all my unnecessary facts, but I love gathering them!
DeleteHi Elizabeth, Just want to let you know I nominated you for the Best Moment Award. Please go to: www.dhdunne.blogspot.com to find out more.

Only three today. Congrats at finishing, I had a great time with your trivia challenges.
ReplyDeleteAnd I had a great time seeing everyone's answers. My only regret is not getting around to more blogs. One of these days...
DeleteWhat a fun picture! I did horrible today but I'm glad I still got a booby prize. :D
ReplyDeleteYour theme was a lot of fun, great job!
And really, it's the boobie prize that matters!
DeleteI had a lot of fun too. Same time next year?
I knew them all except for #4, so not too bad, eh? I'm going to miss these little trivia excursions...I'm not sure if you're on a blogging schedule, but I think you should do these once a week! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, at least I got a boobie prize out of it :)
You had a great theme, this month, and I've really enjoyed it...thanks!
Mark, this blog is total chaos- you never know what bizarre stuff will be here on any given day!
DeleteGlad you enjoyed. It was nice meeting you!
I have a book on Ocracoke ghost stories. When I lived in the DC area we used to go the Outer Banks for vacay sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI love it there! I have several books on the islands...I even won a state social studies fair in my youth for my historical break down of the area. Yeah, I've been a nerd for a long time!
DeleteNone but I wont use the paper bag because its the last day :)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine a paper bag would stop the fire from a dragon :)
DeleteI really enjoyed your theme! I only got #1 and the bonus correct. See you around!
