An Insecure Writer’s Support Group Anthology
The sweetness of first love…

Can her handsome neighbor rescue a modern-day “princess” from a tenacious ex-boyfriend? Can two strangers in a rideshare be honest enough to fall in love for real? Can you remember your first love? How about your second? Third? Fourth?
Featuring the talents of Linda Budzinski, Melissa Maygrove, Michael Di Gesu, Sylvia Ney, Katie Klein, Kim Elliott, Templeton Moss, S.E. White, Denise Covey, and Sammi Spizziri. Hand-picked by a panel of agents and authors, these ten tales will touch your heart and rekindle lost feelings. Prepare to return to that first love…

I am so sorry to hear this Elizabeth, hoping that is won't last too long and that the writing helps, as it does for me in my situation. xx Carole.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to have the IWSG to keep me blogging, too! Hope things start to get easier for you and you get lots of writing done.
ReplyDeleteLOL. I had to read that massage parlor line again. I hope the transition to the new stage of your life smooths out!
ReplyDelete"A writer who isn’t writing is bound to be going off the rails a bit." So true! Best of luck in the coming month.
ReplyDeleteHang in there! Sending positive vibes your way . . . .
ReplyDeleteI understand completely what you are dealing with. Glad you can understand the big change in your body. Everybody tells you it will pass, and it will. In the meantime appreciate your hubby and the amazing miracle our bodies are..hot flashes and all. It's ok to take a break while dealing with this life changing time. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteNot writing can put a woman in a black hole. Best sit with a pen in your hand. I'd also keep a mini fan and some tissue near by. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnna from elements of emaginette
Glad you're reconnecting as a writer through the IWSG. Sorry for what you're going through. I do agree that we go through some of our hardest times during 50's and after. I sure have. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you're struggling! Menopause is a b*tch. The hot flushes, the insomnia, the mood swings... and of course life doesn't stop because you don't feel good. Hang in there. I hope you're able to find your writing (and life) mojo soon.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are suffering, but it's not for ever, though at the time it seems like it is x
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you've been struggling, Elizabeth! *hugs* I hope you find your balance soon and can get back to a good normal that works for you.
