It's Saturday!!
Soooo, let's Just....
Relax...Laugh...think...and drink.
(These are so good and so easy to "drink", be careful or you'll have bed spins while still standing on two feet.)
3 ounces Jell-O or other gelatin (any flavor)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup (4 ounces) vodka
1/2 cup cold water
Mix Jell-O with hot water until dissolved. Add cold water and vodka. Pour into souffle cups or in a *cake pan to cool.
*with the cake pan method, just cut them into squares.

I'm a little jumpy too. Maybe less coffee. No! I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteMe and Jello shots don't mix anymore. Too many bad memories from my earlier days. Ha.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your Saturday just relaxing and taking it easy. I am going to NOT clean my house. :)
bytheway...want to take you up on your offer. Need to do something different. If you have any thoughts, let me know

Before we moved, we lived next to Green Bay Packer fans. They would have gatherings whenever Green Bay played on Sunday and my son would cook for them (he smoked meat). Whenever Green Bay scored points, they would celebrate with those Jello-O shots (green of course). I hadn't had one until he brought one for me to try :)

Heard of Jello Shots. Never "drunk" one
ReplyDeleteDoes thinking and drinking really go hand and hand? The later cancels out the former I think lol
ReplyDeleteJust give me the jello, and I'm happy!! ...plus I'm not 21 yet haha so I really have no choice!
ReplyDeleteI love the quote on the stairs! I have never, ever had a jell-o (jelly) shot. I fear I maybe missing out :-)
ReplyDeleteJello shots always sounded like a cool idea...but my friend, Wilma, made a watermelon wine slush that was to die for! I'm not a drinker - but I loved that.
ReplyDeleteTried Jello shots once. Never again...
ReplyDeleteNo to jello shots, but thanks. However I love taking it easy. And check out the legs on that frog!
ReplyDeleteI've actually never had a jello shot! I'd probably like them too much...
ReplyDeleteJust the idea of taking it easy is relaxing! As soon as I finish my AtoZ rounds, that's exactly what I'm going to do. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteyea, I decided I should relax on Sunday couse man I'm exhausted :(
ReplyDeleteDefinitely stealing those cute quotes. Thanks for the recipes for Jello shots.
ReplyDeleteIt's been years since I had vodka jelly, and now I have the urge to try them again! Perfect warm spring treat.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to just keep that picture of the kitten open on my screen for a while, it's just far too adorable, and it's offering some very good advice too. ;)
I love taking it easy... it's one of my favourite things to do ;)
ReplyDeleteOooh vodka jelly!! Sounds AWESOME xx
Ah! Jello shots! Also, those are dangerous, and so transportable. Love your recipes, keep 'em coming!
ReplyDeleteWe'll pass on the Jello shots! For us, alcohol shouldn't 'bounce'. That's just weird. We'll stick with beer. :)
ReplyDeleteI like to eat jello shots without the vodka because I'm a real badass.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! This is funny. My sister just tried making jello shots a few weeks ago and they went over REALLY well, ha ha! Thanks for the recipe and directions. I never knew how to make them...Lisa, co-host AtoZ 2015, @ http://www.lisabuiecollard.com
