War is coming. A horde of merciless aliens poise just beyond
the Edge. In a matter of weeks they will devour the worlds.
Racing ahead of the apocalypse, Craze returns to the
Backworlds to warn them and plan a defense. Only he can’t go home. Banned from
Pardeep Station, he must wage a more urgent battle. His moon is under siege,
and his friends are dying.
Bad things come in threes, and the galaxy is no exception.
An old enemy returns, attacking moons and defenseless globes, leaving a wake of
destruction. Worse than that, they threaten to join forces with the alien
horde.
Defeat seems inevitable. Craze may not be able to stop it.
Yet home is worth the fight.

I read the excerpt on her blog and I want to read the series too. Sci-fi isn't usually my thing, but Mary makes it good.
DeleteI'm way behind on this series now, but ultimately I'd like to have it all in paperback form so I can just devour it in one sitting. :D Well, numerous sittings, but one sequence!

Tell your son he'll regret it later, but if he does it sans beard, well... It's better than a green and purple mohawk. I mean, there are worse things. xD

DeleteThere are definitely worse things. And I don't have to worry about the beard (though he wants one so badly!) because he can only grow one tiny clump of whiskers.
Congrats to Mary! And I used to have a mullet when I was younger. It was the 80s, I was 5 years old, and I didn't have control of my hairstyle. Blame my parents. The pictures still haunt me.

It's like the feather, do we see that hair style coming back? or the big bangs? Nope. You will have pictures of your high school graduation forever. Really. Does he want to explain the mullet forever?
I found them questionable in the 80's too! Though I do miss big hair. I have so much hair, doing big hair just comes naturally to me. That smooth, slick hair is a pain for me. But I know you're right. Fashion also needs to move forward.

Thank you, Elizabeth, wonderful lady. If it's living hair, one can get away with a mullet... meaning it styles itself and moves on its own. If not, I'd have to vote no.
ReplyDeleteLiving hair...I imagined a pomeranian on his head. He has really curly hair. He'd be more adept at growing an afro than a mullet. That is one saving grace!

Ah, the mullet. Kids are just fascinated by them. My oldest likes to "collect" mullets. She snaps pictures of people we see out and about with raging mullets and exchanges the pictures she takes with her friends....it's kind of a game. Demented and sad, but a game nonetheless. LOL
