'Ello chums!
There's partying going on in Merry Ol' England with the birth of the new royal babe!
I was going to hop an international flight, grab me a pint o' ale and lift it in a toast to a celebrating nation.
But that takes time...and a passport...and sadly I have neither!!
Instead, I'm traveling via the web and hanging out with a wonderful friend (and talented writer!), Annalisa Crawford, as her guest blogger today.
We're talking pig magnets and weight gain. You won't want to miss that, eh?
Click your heels together three times and say, "I want to go to Cornwall"
If that doesn't work...click HERE
(So Annalisa, how did I do? I could have gone the ultra Americana version and started off with, "Howdy Pilgrims". Hmm...maybe next time.)

Welcome to England, Elizabeth! Don't need to click my heels already in (not so sunny today!) Cornwall. Will pop over to Annalisa's next stop.
ReplyDeleteIt's not been sunny here too much either. Rainiest summer in years!
DeleteLol! You forgot to mention how you're replacing that ale ;)
ReplyDeleteBTW - did you get my email for that book?
DeleteNo I didn't! I guess we can toast with hard lemonade...they're summery and delicious ;)
DeleteNo, I missed the email, must have missed it in my multitude of junk mail.
Not bad, not bad at all :-) Glad to have you visiting today!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great way to liven up a gray day!
DeleteNo, I don't think I want to miss that.
ReplyDeleteOf course not ;)
DeleteDon't have a passport either. So I'll click the link.
ReplyDeleteIsn't cyber travel amazing?!
DeleteThere's your next book title, Elizabeth, Pig Magnets. Awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteIt could be the sequel to Pygmalion!
DeleteSomeday I hope to get to England, but today I'll click my heels with you. Thanks for joining my blog today, Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteIt was my pleasure! Thanks for stopping by and nice to meet you :)
DeleteJolly good show, Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun you could have in the lost in translation stuff that happens over here. Still, do I give a toss.
Yes, I was one of many of your adoring fans who went over to the lovely Annalisa's site to note your very thoughtful guest post.
Delighted that the practice for your honorary parade is coming along so nicely. Should you come over for real, I'm in charge of cleaning up the horse's poop at your parade.
Cheerio and see you later, fairest lady.
Gary :)
Gary, when I get around to coming to England, you most certainly won't be at the tail of the parade of the parade cleaning up the poop. You will be the grand master...leading the way with your shining spirit and maybe a gnome or two.
DeleteCheerio to you too!
LOL.... Hi, Elizabeth...
ReplyDeleteMy passport had just expired.... So clicking away with you! Such fun ....
I'm back..
ReplyDeletePlease go to Annalisa's blog and read what I have left for you......
I am eagerly headed that way!!
Delete(with the same trepidation of heading to the principal's office...hehe)
Hi Elizabeth! You're the first new follower to my blog for ages, so welcome! You do know how far Cornwall is from London, don't you? Hours on a slow train. but you're right - Royal baby fever is running high there at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely zero clue. My geography is in sad shape.
DeleteHours on a train? That could be fun...imagine how many chapters I could read? Though I'd HAVE to look out the window and take in all the scenery.
On my way to visit you- across the pond!
ReplyDeleteI'll grab an oar and paddle along with you!
DeleteAnd here I thought you were in line to board a plane! Oh well, this is a very nice alternative.
ReplyDeleteMuch, much cheaper...and much less exciting. :(
DeleteLOL! I should totally head over there. Okay, twist my arm--I'm going!
ReplyDeleteI can let go now? Whew...I was getting worn out from all the twisting!!
DeleteI'm headed over...
ReplyDeleteI'll be there in a bit!
DeleteLoved your post over at Annalisa's. And your pooch is too cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! He is adorable...which is a good thing because he is totally rotten!!
