IWSG Summer Sluggish...

App Up! Camp.
Better than time spent behind a desk.

July was crazy-busy. Vacation. Work conference. A summer camp with kids. August snuck up on me like a thief. We're six days into the new month and I haven't had time to flip over my calendar page.
As for writing, I have finished the first draft of my latest novel. It still needs to be beta-read, edited, and polished. My biggest insecurity is, as always, finding the time to balance it all. And the deeper insecurity of...are the tales I spin worthy of the time they take from real life? If I put that effort into my house, I'd have my cabinets painted already!

Thanks to this month's awesome co-hosts! Ronel Janse van Vuuren, Natalie Aguirre, Sarah - The Faux Fountain Pen, and Olga Godim, thank you, guys!

What is the most unethical practice in the publishing industry? So many to choose from! I'll keep it simple: anything that robs a creative of their rights or the money they deserve.

Exactly - you've summed up the whole industrial crime.

  5. it's awesome you got your first draft done. I'm trying to get cleaning projects done now, so I know the struggle of balancing it all.
