Happy Hanukkah
As a Christian in a very small, very not diverse town, I had to google...when is Hanukkah. I was glad to see I haven't missed it. I am sliding in on the eve of the last day with a Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends. With all the ugly in the world, an eight day reminder to be the light and count our blessings isn't a bad idea. Maybe this Christian needs to buy herself a Menorah.
I don't think it's ever too late to remind everyone of the importance of kindness and religious freedom. Thanks for posting this, Elizabeth.

Kindness and freedom are the most valuable things.
DeleteNice post, Elizabeth, and something we should all remember and try to live by. Most religions start off with kindness and compassion at their heart but get highjacked by fanatics.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great reminder too!
DeleteI love that you posted this.
