Envy Me...

I'm only half here today. Um, who just said *shocking*?

Yeah, I heard it. I DO have Mom Ears, ya know!

I'm only half here because I am hanging out with...don't be too
jealous when I say this...Alex J. Cavanaugh.

Alex and I are spending the week together on his awesome blog.

Yes, I am totally name dropping. Thanks for noticing.

Come visit Alex and me by clicking the magical link HERE!!!!

Oh, and Happy Turkey Day!

I plan to be so busy, I may order pizza and let the birds live another week.

Though if I did that, my kids might take away my cool, "World's Best Mom" tee-shirt.

But I am busy...book three, Fate Intended, is available in paper back! The ebook version will be available December 1st.

And to celebrate the launch of book three...the first two books in the series, Past Due and Healing Summer, are on sale for .99 cents.

Oh, before I go...I know you want a Blue Eagle update!!

We won. Our boys kicked some Moorefield booty and are off to play the last game of the play offs this weekend. That means another week of washing football gear, hanging signs, and feeding players...but hey, it's a good problem to have!

Blessings to you and yours. I hope you have a great holiday...and if you're going to be crazy busy like me, I hope it's with fun things that make you smile!

  1. I read your crazy cat lady story over at Alex's...so true. Wise words from your g'ma.

Congrats on the release of the book and the upcoming ebook! And have a Happy Turkey Day, too. Pizza? With giblet gravy? :)

  3. Call me a visitor from Alex's house.
The words of your grandma cover so many areas of discussion. From other authors, politics, celebrities, and the local high school where the 'cool kids' hang together poking fun at the dumpy new girl. Thank you.

    1. And it's always good to remember, someone who is hateful to some, usually turns out to be hateful to all...eventually.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Congrats to your boys for winning! I know what gear is like, but you're right, what a great problem to have! At least when you cook the bird, you prep the silly thing and leave it (mostly) alone for a couple of hours!

    1. That's true. I got me a roaster last year and I put a salt crust on the bird and let it cook. Delicious.

    1. I think another championship under my big guy's belt would be awesome...though the rings are awfully expensive :/

    2. BTW Julie...my grandma would have LOVED your animal rescuing heart! She also always said you could never trust someone who could be unkind to an animal and trust those who keep them in their heart.

  10. Ha! Loved that title ... but as my eTwinny, you know that you have to envy me, because you know eMom always gave me more cookies than you, so there :)

PS: So very happy for you, Liz, that you have Book 3 up and running ( that is so awesome, and yes, I may be a little green :)

Have a FANTASTIC Thanksgiving holiday and all us Koopmans's's's are sending all y'all Seckmans the very best for a wonderful - and dare I say it - relaxing Christmas season :)

    Cheers :)

    1. Cyber twinny, I have to argue the cookie point. I do believe the size of my bottom is proof that eMommy gave me the larger share of cookies.
I understand green is your native color, but I have no doubt your gem of a story will be a hit. I've read it and I have excellent taste, so when I say it's good. It's awesome!!
