Welcome Sandra & a Giveaway!
Behind the amicable façade is a man who’s tough and
determined. He’s Mateo’s Blood Brother.
Available at Amazon.
Mateo’s Blood Brother is a
sequel to Mateo’s Law.
Blurb:
They were friends, close as brothers. Then
they weren’t.
Mateo and Jesse are cautiously working their
way back to friendship when Jesse discovers the unthinkable. Delilah (also
known as Layla), the sultry shifter who’d had affairs with both men, is still
alive. The tumble she took over a mountain ridge—a fall that nearly killed
Mateo—should have finished her.
Now, there’s no choice but for the two men to
work together to take down a she-devil straight from hell. As the stakes escalate and the hunt becomes
more intense, another wolf appears on the scene. Always where Jesse’s at.
Always when he’s in trouble. Jesse is
divided between ending Delilah, a new love interest, discovering the identity
of a certain brown wolf and staying alive.
“Jesse.”
His
head jerked up and a rare, involuntary smile lit his thin features. “Chief
Deputy Delaney, soon-to-be Wade.”
He
scooted out from the booth to hug her. Then turned and nodded to her companion.
“Tina.”
“Jesse.”
Scarlatina Snow, a pretty Blackfoot artist that lived off the reservation,
nodded back.
“Join
me?” He motioned toward the other side of the plain wooden booth.
The
women scooted in.
“Here
to hear Full Moon?” Full Moon always played on Wednesdays. He and Blair were
both fans of the band that played hard rock with a native twist.
“Does
a wild bear do its business in the forest?” Blair shouted above the noise.
She
looked up and caught Jerry’s eye, a young Blackfoot riding the stick, and held
up two fingers. He nodded and smiled.
A
moment later, a pretty young twenty-something waitress wound gracefully through
the gyrating figures on the dance floor and deposited the beers. “Hi, Blair.
Tina.”
“Hey,
Margo.”
“Want
another, Chief?” Margo swiped the table with a damp rag.
“I’m
good.”
The
waitress smiled, nodded and turned in the direction of the bar. She got snagged
by a nearby table before she’d taken two steps.
“I’m
surprised Mateo let you out alone.” Jesse took a sip of his beer. That was an
understatement with Layla on the loose.
“Oh,
please. Just because we’re getting married doesn’t mean we’re linked at the
hip.” She waved off the notion with a careless gesture from a hand with short,
unvarnished nails. An antique, oval turquoise, edged with silver, on her left
finger. “Besides, it’s Wednesday night, girls’ night out.”
“Right?”
She twisted toward Tina.
“Right.”
Tina raised her glass.
They
sat at the back booth, Jesse facing the door.
“Oh
yeah? Tell him that.”
“What?” Blair’s forehead beetled in confusion.
He
nodded toward the door.
Tina Snow
Is a composite artist for the Grizzly Police Department.
Is a successful nature artist.
Wednesday nights are girls’ night out for her and Blair.
