Nothing Shocking!
Guess where I just came from?Did you say a football game?
Golly, you're smart!
We won. My baby was a beast. There's nothing shocking there.
Working on my edits, I continue to worry that my Russian lingo won't translate correctly.
I mean I saw on the news where the White House got the words on the infamous "reset" button wrong.
And that worries me because I'm betting they didn't hire their translator by lowest bid.
And I did. Nothing shocking there!
I also tried to sign up for book buzz. Couldn't flipping get my book to download to the site.
Sigh. Nothing shocking there!
Announced I'd be trying to schedule a blog tour for November. Of course it's short notice and people are busy, but still plenty offered to help me out.
You know what? Nothing shocking there either...because bloggers are the best!!!
I love you guys!
Oh, and if you have a spot in November or December, or whenever, and want to host me...I'd love to visit!
Anytime, any place, any sort of post you want...I'm game. I'm a blog tramp. Nothing shocking there!
Elizabeth, you know I'd be happy to host you! Anytime except the second week.
ReplyDeleteAnd glad your son's team won.
Mr. Cavanaugh, you are the best!
DeleteAnd thank you. Winning is fun ;)
Okay, does that make me second best? Millionth best? Who is this guy? Ahem, yay to your son's football team and the right result. And yes, you mean that type of football and not football, football as in soccer, football.
ReplyDeleteNothing shocking here, but my evidently well kept secret blog site would be pleased if you wanted to do a guest post on my well kept secret blog site.
I'm a blog gigolo. Now, that may shock you.
Gary the gigolo :)
Gary the Gigolo...why aren't we rich? I mean we have to be high valued stock, ya know?
DeleteI'd love to visit your super secret blog site. I'm much flattered, and I have to tell you...you are the best guy in the UK. And one of the very best friends a blogger could have.
Count me in, Elizabeth!! You're ALWAYS welcome on my blog... and this time it can be on a proper adult blog instead of the YA one ;)

DeleteWow, well seeing as we're going there.... I'll be your blog hooker :)
ReplyDeletePut me in coach!
(Hmmm, suddenly that famous saying sounds a bit funny :)
Anyway, you tell me when, and I'll post you there, OK?
Mi blog is su blog :)
Just let me know - and we could do a blog-brother/sister interview... that would be hilarious.... (at least *my* answers would be :)~
I think a sibling post would be awesome! And yes, I can expect hilarity out of you, though I would do my best to keep up! And if you give me any virtual noogies, I'll tell virtual mom!
DeleteThanks cyber brother, you guys really are the best!
Congratulations to your son's team! That's great. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I definitely want to be part of the tour. (But I told you that already.) ;)
I have you on my list Rachel! And thanks again!
DeleteElizabeth, this was such a fun post to talk about a few things happening in your life. Creative twist. :) Yay for your son and cheering you on with your book!
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie. It was my first post written and posted via my iPod. Learning to work on the go!

ReplyDeleteThanks Gwen! I better get busy writing, especially if I want to do it all pro like you and Angela!
DeleteI'd love to help too. December is best for me. Just let me know!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay! December is perfect! Spreads things out a bit, so people don't get sick of seeing my face around!
Delete"I'm a blog tramp." LOL!
ReplyDeleteWould love to have ya over in December some time. Nov might be a bit difficult, I'm contemplating the NaNo thing..... *shakes head*
Go for it! I have started and stopped NaNo more times than I can count! But you will do it...you run marathons and stuff! (that shows you have dedication!)
DeleteI will make room. Congrats to your son on the game. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're the bomb Mary! Hugs :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Christine! Much appreciated :)
DeleteI've offered you a spot on my blog, haven't I? If not, take this as my offer :-)
ReplyDeleteTranslating is always going to be a little bit tricky, but if the White House can get it wrong, you're in great company!
Thanks Annalisa! And yes, I think you have offered, but hey more is always better :)
DeleteIn the White House's defense, from everything I've read it's a tough language to translate into English...even our alphabets are different. I think I will double check it once more and call it done.
I'm open to a Friday in September.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your son.
I have no clue about Russian lingo. I think I'd mess up.
Thanks Medeia! I'll send you an email :)
DeleteHow about a 'tenative' December, from me? I'm not sure how busy I'll be with the holidays, and all, but if things aren't too hectic, I'd love to host your book :)
ReplyDeleteI do tentative. It's pretty much how I live my life! Thanks Mark!
DeleteYay for those kids that grow up and show their stuff! Come over to The Write Game and I'll be glad to post about your book. cleemckenziebooksATcomcastDOTnet
