You've Got a Hanger There...

A HANGER?  Sounds like the boogie that sticks around after a good January nose blowing!

Gross, huh?

Fortunately, we all know 'a hanger' is the term for the dramatic exit line from the chapter that a writer HOPES draws the reader into the next chapter rather than, say, going and starting dinner. There may be a hungry family somewhere out there  and it may be your fault. Yeah, high five baby!

So, without further disgusting analogies...

From book one in the Coulter men series, Past Due  (Buy it where? See HERE!)...

~She relaxed a little, with his mind on food, he’d forget about Tres. She just wished she’d bought something stouter than wine so she could too.

From book two, Healing Summer (which is to be released late 2012)...

~Craig winked down at her and smiled, “Can’t blame a guy for trying, Mollie. It is my birthday.”

From book three..still an unnmed WIP, though I'm leaning toward, Promise Me Someday...

~  “Worried about Ms. Higgins?” Jane offered. “I’m sure she’ll come to understand.”
"No, not her. It’s Eve. Damn,” He tugged at his floppy blond hair. “How the hell could I have forgotten about Eve?”

And now...I have to share...just got this last night! Thanks to the talented Mr. Mitchell Goodwin, who is a poor college student so he works for Taco Bell kinda cash...is this! An awesome book  trailer for Past Due!

    1. Thanks! Reading over my hangers, they are a little flat without knowing what happened in the chapter...but I was too lazy to explain.

    1. Thanks. It's really amazing when you know what a hodge podge of random crap I gave him to work with! I told him to be sure to put his name on it...he might sell his services through college for beer money...though he's a good boy and would never drink!
